Jai SriRam 🙏
Last year Manish’s (my husband) Masi visited us in Mumbai from California. While she was here, she experienced an episode of breathlessness. The doctor gave her an injection and she became fine soon. A couple of weeks later back home in the US, the symptoms returned but this time more intensely. They were diagnosed as pneumonia and she was hospitalised. She recovered well. A week after returning home she experienced pain in her chest. This time it was diagnosed as a failure of a heart valve. She was operated upon successfully and appeared to have recuperated.
However, a month later she sensed a lump in her breast. A biopsy was performed. The results came in after a week - and suddenly she had Stage 3 cancer. Despite having faced several struggles in her life, Masi has always been strong with a positive personality. when we reached her home after the second chemotherapy and we were taken aback by how weak and small Masi had become. She was also quite tired, dejected and bitter about the circumstances. It seemed as if life had defeated her.
To motivate her we spoke to her about Nitin Dada and chanting NAMA. Masi has never been spiritual - so she just nodded and said, "do what you like". Every morning we started playing NAMA loudly so it would spread in the whole house. Sometimes she chanted with us and sometimes she didn’t. Two weeks after we started playing NAMA she went for an MRI. To our delight, we learnt that the tumour had reduced by more than 70 percent. This encouraged her and us. We stuck to our daily routine of playing NAMA and chanting. Three months later in January 2020, she was operated and by end of the month was declared to be cancer-free. By then we had returned to India, although Manish went back for the operation and stayed there for 15 days till she had fully recovered. Finally, she was back home and happy ……..… but with nobody to remind her, she had stopped chanting.
Masi's happy state lasted less than six months. In July 2020, a large tumour was discovered in her brain. An emergency operation was performed and the tumour was removed. Post-op this was diagnosed as an aggressive Stage 4 cancer with the strong possibility of having spread to her brain and lungs. Doctors and family were not very optimistic about her outlook.
Soon after she returned home, I spoke to her and strongly pushed her to chant NAMA every day over Zoom along with me. I was pleasantly surprised when she readily agreed. We now chant every day - her night - my morning. It's been over a month since we started and now Masi is always logged in before me - eagerly looking forward to chanting - her husband also sits in with her. Their devotion this time is far more resolute.
10 days ago she went in for radiation therapy and then an MRI scan. BY NITIN DADA’S GRACE AND BLESSINGS - the results are all clear. It looks like the cancer was restricted to the tumor and had not spread. She is once again cancer-free. Her outlook has improved considerably. The scans have to be done once every three months - but Masi is now far more relaxed and happy. Both of us look forward to our daily chanting session.
With DADA's BLESSINGS, this time I will not leave her alone and will take NAAM with her every day.
THANK YOU NITIN DADA.
